Turns out that the deal for Robinho is never going to happen due to the confusion over the amount of money Real Madrid would have to pay to Santos.

So instead they've opted to sign Julio Baptista. Admittedly only Marca seem to have picked up this so far, but by what they're writing, it seems pretty much like a done deal for 20 million Euros.

Edit - just confirmed on the BBC. £13.8 million to Sevilla, and Baptista signs for Real.

Edit: I'm at JJ's whenever there's a match on that one of my 'core' group of 5 housemates support i.e Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool (that's me!) or Hudderfield (not very often at all).

Do you create a plan for the whole term in advance? Nice. I imagine you'll be there whenever there's a game on Sky that's remotely interesting, that's what I did last term.

Azul? I may have blocked him without meaning to, do say sorry to him. I checked my block list the other day, and it's got, like, 100 people blocked. I swear I don't know who most of them are.

One thing i was thinking when i read this last night...Couldnt Real have just paid the full amount required for the release cause for the stupid brasilian fa to process the transfer and then santos just give that money back to real?
