Indeed, indeed.
But if you can travel that fast, chances are you can put people in and out of suspended animation without too much trouble as well. Which would be ... nice ...
But, I just can't see it happening. Maybe there'll be some amazing discovery tomorrow, and we'll all propelled into a new world of technological wonderment, but I doubt it.

Even though the speed of light is fast, it would still be pretty useless for space travel because even at that speed it'd take hundreds of years to reach anywhere worthwhile.
