Looks like Rafa's made his mind up about Baros (and Dudek) so really seems to be a question only of who and when.

I want to see him do well. Just not against Liverpool. I think villa's style would suit him more as well. So I can see him defo improving on his 13 goals last season.

He was heading towards 20 goals last season before he got an injury. He'll probably do the same this season. I have faith in the man.

I just hope the decision doesn't come back and bite us in the ass by him knocking in 20 goals this season. No doubt he will score a few against us this season as ex-players tend to do.

At least this transfer paves a path for an Owen return with Madrid wanting £11m for him. They still owe Liverpool £4m from his transfer last summer so the Baros transfer should cover the rest. I also heard that madrid may may let Woodgate come on loan as well to get his fitness back and to help him overcome his injury jinx.

He's apparently getting paid more at Villa. Surprised me at first, then I realised he hasn't had a contract upgrade since he got to Anfield, and he was signed as a youngster/potential star, so he won't have been on much, whereas now he's an established goalscorer.

Best player Villa have had since Dwight Yorke ;)

It's nice to see that Baros will be leaving on good terms but the fella has about as much brains as a false face if he reckons he is not taking a step back by moving to villa.
