Looks like Rafa's made his mind up about Baros (and Dudek) so really seems to be a question only of who and when.
I reckon Benitez may not accept this immediately but probably will budge as the deadline looms.
Oh, and Drogba of course.
Cisse had only just joined, and many of those games came after a certain career-threatening leg break!
Ditto for Mori (apart from the leg break), it's tough to settle in to a new side, a new league and a different type of football. I expect we'll see better form from him this season.
Baros is a great player, no doubt, and he had his moments last year...just not enough of them, in my view.
Although, just remembered, Baros also suffered injuries last year, so his final tally of 13 wasn't that bad. But remember, Kewell scored 12/13 in his first season that was ruined by injury...and no one but me even likes him.

Hey, you may burn down barns and make up fire-faires called Neal, but you're alright in my book.

Ooh, so close...Shame.
Cisse is one of my players for next season, much respect for him. Morienttes(sp?) I'm sure is starting to settle and I really really like Peter Crouch.
But Baros is fantastic, in my eyes better than all 3 of them and would work well alongside crouch.
Look at these stats, proof he is Liverpool's best striker last season irrelevant of how many games the other strikers played:

But he won't go, because of idiots (the scouse version of all Spurs fans) who'll scream "Judddaaassss!11!11".
Bet he's wishing he'd said yes to Barcelona last season now. Eto'o and Baros with 'Dinho supporting?
Yes please, says Catalunia.
Ooh, Schalke pull out because they're poor poor Germans. Poor Schalke fans, bet they thought they were about to actually get someone good.
So, now it's the 'mystery club' - Sky trying to add some interest to it after everyone knows it's Aston Villa, because there's no way in hell Baros will go to West Ham.
