I rate him as a player and he's proved that he can score goals in the Premiership but... Dunno. I'm not sure he's proved himself fully enough to justify Liverpool spending £7m on adding another striker to their ranks.
?
Le Tallec has always been better than a-Flo-Flo though. But Baros has always been better than every striker in the Prem, so nothing makes you a Rafa-favourite. Well, there is one thing...
*checks to see how often Crouch has holidayed in Spain*

:-)
I think Cissé & Morientes will be an awesome partnership if both of them manage to stay fit with Crouch being the main backup and Le Tallec coming in when someone's injured/fixture congestion. Le Tallec can also play on the right wing too though so maybe we'll see more of him than we thought.

In which case he more than justifies the money :-)
I don't get what everyone is saying about Crouch.
TARGET MAN! - No, wait, Morientes can head the ball just as well as Crouch.
HE'S NOT JUST A TALL HEADER OF THE BALL! - So we're buying him for what? He's not a target man (which we already have, in Morientes) so we're getting him for...He's faster than Cisse, is he? Stronger than Baros? Defter than Morientes? No.
I hated the commentators against TNS saying stuff like Zenden's crosses will be eaten up by Crouch. Yes, they probably would, but Morientes will do the exact thing.
I think he's just been bought as an excuse to get rid of Baros :)
I shouldn't be getting so worked up. Baros was going anyway and Crouch will hardly ever start.
I can seriously see him being one of Liverpools top scorers this season. Even if Gerrard already has a tally of 5.
1 good season does not a great player make.
