Well, it has according to Sky News, the news vulture network. Huge red banners and claxons fill your eyes and ears whenever you skip past that channel. From a more reliable source (BBC News), I see there have been power surges and small explosions, which naturally have affected services.
This quote made me chortle:
"As I walked through the bus station I could see people lying on the ground, black, as if they'd been covered in smoke."
Obviously an out-of-towner.
Enjoy your day off work millions of Londoners!
Phew, she's on her way home now.
Hope your dad's ok YH

Hope people are ok and casualties are minimal.

Sky News is my weapon of choice. It's like The Day Today, but somehow real. They've found 'Terrorism Experts' to interview already.
Reason i can't think of one, we haven’t invaded anywhere for over a year now and we are trying to be the good guys at the G8. People are thinking Olympics but that’s just stupid surely t won't be that.

Was surprised the link hadn't been made already - BBC havn't said anything about 'terrorism' thus far, which I think is very good and objective.
The obvious question is who did it, and whether the tube power outage and the bus explosions are related.
I go to London quite often (will be in there about this time on Saturday), so I find it quite scary.
