Have you ever heard of anything so daft. At my sons school they have recently introduced a new rule, where by the pupils have to keep there top button done up and there shirts tucked in and have to wear ties up to there necks through the summer months, are they insane. They have all been given these pieces of card with spaces for teachers to sign the card if there uniform is not up to scratch and when they get 4 signitures they get an after school detention. They also can spot check and have a look at the card at any time, plus if the kids forget to take the card or lose it they will end up in a lunch time detention, because there is no proof that they have any signitures on it or not. The school says this new rule is to show pupils how to dress for when they have to go to work. As i work for a big company you do not have to wear ties during the summer months and at no time at all do we have to have our top buttons done up. It has caused big arguments with the school since the rule has been introduced and the school says they are not going to change the rule. What do you guys think?

Hmm, I can only deduce from all of the below, that schools which have stringent uniform codes are run by kiddy fiddlers with a thing for uniforms.

Surely there can be no other explaination?

Oh dear, I made one mistake with the way i wrote out my sentence!!111. Please shoot me for being so lame. And just look how many stupid mistakes you made with your statements.

Look. You don't even know which school I go to so how would you know? And yes they would ask you to leave the school. They wouldn't make you. They would ask you. What's the point of having rules if certain clowns don't wan't to follow them.

Er fool.

They'll tell you to leave school - even though you don't go there?
Wow. Amazing.

Hush.

If the told the child to leave because the paretn didn't like the uniform rules (which they never would) you could take them to court (which they don't want).

It wouldn't happen.

I would of loved to have blazers at our school, but Camphill fall’s under the catchment area so half the students wouldn’t be able to afford the blazers, let alone pay for the extra washing powder.

Start a debate about the flammability of school uniform. If you need a lighter, just ask one of the kids.

Rules like this never last. During my last year of school there seemed to be a new drive at the uniform every week:

"You must not wear trainers in the school building and you must wear your tie at all times."

Blah blah etc.

People generally took no notice of the rule and the one's who did lost interest very quickly. The teachers stopped bothering once they realised that they weren't getting through.
