Lotr Battle for middle earth is great, with its epic battles and control of as many units as you want!! It's a bit annoying cause it's only for PC. But the graphics are so realistic! It comes out (in the UK) on December 6th. Go to: www.eagames.com this is the where you can find the offical website for the game. Now BFME is the best game ever!

To me, the game has always looked like its going to be C&C:Generals with different graphics. Average RTS and poor AI sounds like they haven't changed much else either. :)
The sad part is, I'll still probably buy it. :-)

After having seen the one level Minas Tirith in the video interview, I'm a bit disappointed. I was looking foward to a multi-tiered battle at Minas Tirith.

Sure, I don't see how they could have implemented it without constantly switching the camera, but for the film one of the key points of that particular battle was the progession into the city i.e. up each level of the city. Now it's just a case of the city blowing up, which defeats the gradual "overtaking".

It sounds like the Orlando Bloom of games.

It tries hard at being as good as all the other RTS games, but fails to succeed. Will probably have a few devoted fans drooling over it's dashing good looks tough.

73% in this months PCGamer. Aparantly an average RTS with some nice levels here and there but it ultimately dissapoints with poor AI, pointless hero characters and repetative game-play.
