Lotr Battle for middle earth is great, with its epic battles and control of as many units as you want!! It's a bit annoying cause it's only for PC. But the graphics are so realistic! It comes out (in the UK) on December 6th. Go to: www.eagames.com this is the where you can find the offical website for the game. Now BFME is the best game ever!

It looks like an average RTS only with "LOTR WTF OMG!!!1111" all over it. Don't expect it to be too good.
Ahem, Rome: Total War makes Battle for Middle Earth look like a school yard brawl. It's very doubtful battle for middle earth will reproduce battle scenes that top Rome's, in fact, it's doubtful any RTS game will for a while.

A tiny bit true but to me I think is great!
Obviously you haven't seen any of the clips or screenshots.The wars are exactly like the films but even better!

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it'll be a fun pop tactics kind of game, but EA don't show the same kind or skill when it comes to strategy games as Creative Assembly do with theirs.

Still, doubtful you'll be able to amass troops that can number in the thousands, Total War's battlefields can muster up to 10,000 units on screen at once, and if that isn't the most impressive spectacle in gaming history then I don't know what is.
Again, BFME looks like a fun, light weight RTS, the kind I'd expect from a developer who put aside innovation for a quick buck, but I remain unimpressed.
