Lotr Battle for middle earth is great, with its epic battles and control of as many units as you want!! It's a bit annoying cause it's only for PC. But the graphics are so realistic! Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it'll be a fun pop tactics kind of game, but EA don't show the same kind or skill when it comes to strategy games as Creative Assembly do with theirs.

I shall be getting this game.

Ahem, Rome: Total War makes Battle for Middle Earth look like a school yard brawl. It's very doubtful battle for middle earth will reproduce battle scenes that top Rome's, in fact, it's doubtful any RTS game will for a while.
