9 days, and I've not bought anything I need for it yet, gah.

Who else from the forum is going? How long for, what bands you seeing and pee-bottling?, etc

I'm sick of hijacking the heavy metal thread for conversations Re: the matter so stick any download fest related stuff here. I'll read it and I whittle away my fingernails in anticipation.

I only saw the first couple of songs, I needed a break so badly. You see the two prats climbing the post to the right of the stage? I was pretty much right next to them. One of them nearly cacked himself when the security showed up.

Yeah, but that was the only thing notable about their performance. Not one memorable song.

Lamb of God rocked my socks, but the highlight of Sat was Bullet for my Valentine despite not playing a full version of curses.

Society 1 are a gimick band as it is, but it was cool seeing him on the hooks wasn't it?

If you dislike gimicky bands you'll be glad you didnt see Lordi on friday!

Society 1 were a load of crap. The whole meat hook thing seemed to be a cover up for the fact that their music sucks balls.

I stayed in the Snickers stage on the Saturday like I said, well I saw Trivium first on the main stage. Meshuggah were the highlight of that afternoon really. They're so damn raw and powerful.

Agreed - was awesome.

DV8 were bloody poor though.

Nightwish annoyed me for being late and Chemical Romance utterly sucked live. I vomited in my mouth and spat it at an emo who cried.

Everyone was throwing them, myself included. There were very few emo spastics there.

They were probably throwing them to cut each other.

Funeral For A Friend. As soon as the banner dropped down with their new album cover on I got the hell out of there. I went and caught Slayer's last few songs instead.
