Simplify:
(5x² + 14x - 3) / (x² - 9)

You know you can do it, I know you can do it, so how about we cut out the 'google it noob' stuff and somebody just helps me out, please.

Breaks down to [(5x-1)(x+3)] / [(x-3)(x+3)]
Which I think goes to (5x-1) / (x-3)

Dunno if you can go any further.

I did pages and pages of simplification at Uni, but I'll be damned if I can remember that now!

EDIT: If you can wait until tomorrow morning, I'll get my hardcore maths book out at home. Or you could Google it n00b!!!
