Time for you to do my homework that is.

Simplify:
(5x² + 14x - 3) / (x² - 9)

You know you can do it, I know you can do it, so how about we cut out the 'google it noob' stuff and somebody just helps me out, please.

How many marks is the question worth?

Meh, I reckon I should still get a decent grade just missing out 1 question.

It's two years since I took my GCSEs and I doubt I could have done it then. As FFF said you knew if you'd got it right or wrong but I've always prefered essay subjects like English/History.. you can usually make waffle up and still get marks :)

I can do all the questions about funky triangles and oddly shaped boxes with stupid volumes. I just can't remember the method for this particular type of question.

Anyway, by mock I mean it's a past paper from three years ago, roughly the time you'd have taken it, yes?

I quite liked Maths, in a sad old way.
At least you knew when you'd got it right or not.

No, no, it's a mock GCSE paper, so all the questions are different.

(5x² + 14x - 3) / (x² - 9)

So then:

6x² + 14x over -12

Or something.
I've just confused myself.

Bloody easy anyway if you've done 24 of these things already..
