Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

It is indeed, I don't see why he included that intro on the album.

It's the first thing you hear when you press play as well.

Bright Eyes - At The Bottom Of Everything
The spoken intro is 'king annoying, i almost turned it off before it got started which would have been a real shame because this is a great song, reminds me a lot of Bob Dylan.

Aye, 'tis much better listened to with all the other songs on the album.
They are something a bit special - one of the best albums I've bought for a long while.

The Shins - Pink Bullets
I've been keen to here the Shins for ages but haven't got round to it, this is a very nice song, quite interested in the album because good songs always sound better as part of a great album and I've heard wonderful things about Chutes Too Narrow. It even got into NME's top 50 albums of last year which is saying something seeing they aren't another clone of the Libertines or Franz.

Bright Eyes - At the Bottom of Everything
I love Bright Eyes' recent album and this song is a personal favourite along with We Are Nowhere and Lua. Takes a while to get going but I love it, quite folky but I like the structure of the song and it grows on you everytime you listen to it. Much better than the BE song recommended last mnonth.
