Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

Ryan Adams - Note to Self Don't Die
I love his acoustic stuff, specially his Wonderwall cover, but this hasn't grabbed me first time of listening. However I'm getting the vibe that it would be a cool thing to have on my iPod cos it might sound really cool amongst a huge shuffle so I'll definitely keep it and hope it grows and grows.

I like the range of stuff he can do. This is good, reminds me of the Pumpkins a little.

Rise Against - Dancing for Rain
Yeah, it's alright. Think they could have made a little more of when it changes from acoustic to distortion-ness, just doesn't really seem to have enough impact, needs to be a tad more heavy. On a whole though, quite good.

Bright Eyes - At The Bottom of Everything
Didn't mind the talking intro to be honest. Nice-ish tune. Then it gets all saliva-ee near the end. Urgh.

Astriaal - Aquisition of the Stars
Intro's nice, then in comes some tasty guitar sounds. Yeah, 'tis alright.

The Shins - Pink Bullets
Alright background music, but really nothing special at all. Could be by anyone really.

Astriaal - Acquisition Of The Stars (Bob The Moose)

Pretty good. Although the drummer should be slapped round the head a few times. The rest of it was pretty good though.
