Good to know the Catholic church is looking to move forward, electing as they've done a new Pope who's against abortion, homosexuality, women priests, priest's marrying and who has spoken out against multi-cultural societies.

Still, he's an old one so hopefully he'll snuff it quick.

One thing I have noticed, that always happens when something is covered in extent in the Media - people suddenly become the 'yeah I've always liked ... ' people.

"Yeah, I've always liked Rugby, GO'UN JONNY, Yeah, Rugby is pride of us brits!!!" - World Cup 2004

Lets be honest here, Rugby wasn't really that popular before we won.

"Raise your hands and praise the lord, It's a new POPE! I've been a CATHOLIC ages and this is the best thing I've seen in my life so far, oh bath me in thy beautiful light, sweet Jesu, for outh new Pope will direct us to heaven"

- The recent events of this year.

Occasional Christians/Catholics suck.

It irritates me, stupid, stupid people become 'sudden carers' about what is happening in the world, just like the "Christmas Christians" who go to church on Christmas Eve to watch a free nativity play.

Grrr.

For example, God has done alright for himself considering he's fictional, the Church may as well carry on the tradition.
