No, they shouldn't. It's a complete victory of style over substance.

For the hardware that's inside, they're ripping you off completely.

Sounds a right pain.

No wonder people stick to just getting free, illegal music.

I'd just download them myself (obviously not from napster etc) and buy the cd if it's worth a purchase.

You can sample the song on iTunes before you buy it.
Everyone should have an ipod anyway.

But you can't use the files on anything other than an iPod and they limit you as to how many times you can burn the track. Plus you can't listen to a song first before buying it, plus you HAVE to buy it if you want it...

Napster > Apple

...and because I know the quote machine won't like that...

Apple < Napster

I don't really trust napster.
I don't know why, its just old school and used to be illegal.

Its like buying an expencive watch off an ex-con. I just dont trust it.

If i was going to buy music then i would do it on iTunes. It's cheaper, safer, and easier.

If you're definitely gonna be downloading/buying over £10 worth of music a month then Napster is so much better than anything that you'll pay for.

Plus you've only got to pay the £10 again to get access to all the music for another month.

At the moment it's annoying because only the Zen Micro can work with Napster to Go, but when the other Zens are sorted out (which they will be soon) then it will be great. You just plug it in and it downloads a random selection of songs to your ZEN. You could in theory copy over £1000 worth of new music to your ZEN each time, and that only costs you £10 for the month.

However if you're only getting the odd song every now and again, it's a complete waste of time.
