Nothing. He effected none of our lives in any way. Only those damp-cheeked Vatican-dwellers who have probably never even been to a real city can claim to have been touched by the pope, literally. The pro-child-molesting jitterer has finally sodded off to realise that heaven doesn't exist and he's wasted his life preaching lies. Now our media can go back to printing picture of the horse-faced prince William and telling us how much we care he's nobbing some posh lass.

I hate you guys.

Don't think anyone is really saying anything nasty about the Pope, just that he didn't have too much to do with the downfall of Communism. When people tell me I wasn't responsible for the downfall a political ideal I hardly get offended at all.

Yeah peaceful laying on a slab of stone while a few hundred thousand people walk past.

I think they should stuff him in the bullet stopping pose and place him in a public square.

He ruined it all.

The americans aren't great listeners when their enemies want to change.

Gorbachev wanted to start co-operative dissarming of missiles but the americans ignored him.

Gaddafi also wanted to talk and dissarm earlier than the Americans let him.

The world's policemen has got a dodgy ear and he's on the take.

If Pope Clement hadn't broken the Templars we wouldn't have godawful movies/books like National Treasure and the Da Vinci Code.

Popes without secular powers = good.

What did John Paul do exactly, against Communism?

"Hello chaps, can you lift that curtain?"
"Can't. Made of Iron."
