Never liked this "comedy". Fail to see what's so great about it. The fact that Gervais is a tool doesn't help its cause.

Because of the hours I worked (ironically enough, in an office) I missed The Office until the DVD boxset with both series and the Christmas specials came out.

Then I proceeded to smirk away like an idiot for hours on end. Brent is what you'd get if you mixed the worst things about all the managers I've had and put them in a shirt and tie.

I'm the only one of my group to work in a proper office environment and, although all my mates love The Office too, I just think it has that little extra bit for me since I can relate to it more.

It makes him seem a bit silly, that's all. He laughs at his own jokes more than the majority of people who I know do.

I picked up his Xfm radio shows on eBay for my girlfriend and they're hilarious.

Looking forward to Extras. I see there's a lot of celebrity cameos http://www.rickygervais.com/extras.php, I'm expecting it to be like a British Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Why is that bad? It's only bad if the jokes aren't funny.

He's great in Animals and Politics, though.

No, just the sound of it.

No doubt they'll shy away from repeating 'How Do You Want Me?' after the actress's untimely death. Shame, looks interesting.
