"Just realised something."

Back in the good old days we had Nash, Azul, Memo, gerrid, aoe_slaught, Tribute, FFF and all the gang to keep the fools down and the scum out. Now they (the good regulars) are outnumbered by the idiots that infest this place.
Came to this conclusion after seeing the aforementioned users had many votes against them in that "Forum Enemy" thread.
Against this harsher climate with strict irritating staff and retarded people the sensible and decent users of old are dying out.

I can vouch for the fact that there never was a golden age.

The Golden Age of which you speak occured far more recently than the Golden Age that people like me chat about. In that Golden Age, people talked about the Golden Age before that. The name Golden Rhino came up often, for some reason. Apparently, back then, Sniper was funny. This on it's own gives me reason to doubt there is ever a Golden Age, just nostalgia. Applies to real life as well as this oh-so important forum.

Rose tinted spectacles I feel. The forum is the same as it always has been. You just don't remember the n00bs of old and their pointless posts because they have long since passed into the side of your memory which is easily forgotten.
