Apparently, the Xbox's hard disk is only going to be only 8MB, which, compared to PS2's 40MB, seems pretty paltry.

I've only got a 20GB for my PC and there's still some room left.

Why does the PS2 need a 40GB hard drive if you dont even have to install software on it?

Who will fill up that space. Unless its for .mp3's, but they can be illegal.....

Are you sure it's not Random Access Memory instead of Hard Disk Space?

hd-space should at least be a gigabyte for the games that are gonna be on the new consoles....

However the Ram doesn't need to be so big. 8MB might be a lil slow though, 40 would be better!

Then you will have an expansion bay. I think its labelled something closely related like "expansion bay" or something.

Fair enough. As long as your`s isn`t an import then it`ll fit nicely inside the expansion bay. (The import versions have the hard drive as an external add on).
