Simple question. Any good? I'm looking for a game that is likely to make me want to play it more then once.

I'm interested in this and Full Spectrum Warrior.

Anyone played these games?

If you're curious as to why the Seleucid Empire is unequivocably the best faction, check out their units in a Custom Battle. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Oh, and my advice to everyone - get your 50 regions before you capture Rome, because your income drops by about 6,000 per turn.

The archers ability to fire arrows makes them perfect for long range attacks.

The catapults are my new favourite weapon. The perfect siege weapon, punching holes through walls and getting rid of those annoying guards towers, while wasting dozens when using the incendiary missiles.

One of my Generals that only recently came of age is an absolute monster, at 18 he already has about 7 command stars, and 5 managment and influence. Needless to say I've searched all my other generals to pull together the best retinue possible, and trained the best army I can at this point.

He's currently cutting through the Germanians like a hot knife through butter. About 150 years of alliegance and what did they give me? Nothing.

This is crazy. My family is in some kind of mass-breeding period.

Almost every turn now I get messages telling me that about 3 new family members have come of age, and I've now got at least 30 generals currently in action. For around 25 cities. Not complaining, although it's frustrating trying to get the bandits half way across the map to replace some old mofo in one of my captured towns in the far east.

Ah well.

They're most likely extinct or holed up on Cyprus. The Seleucids start in what is now Southern Turkey.
