...apparently there's thousands of people washing up on the beach in Indonesia...

Wonders if this has been put up before...

I think perhaps you should come and work on the Thomas Cook incident team for a while and answer calls from distraught relatives of missing holiday-makers.

think it was NOT funny.. as so many people have lost thier lives.. Making pointless jokes about them is not on..

But then again thats my opinion

A ginger person could be more offended by a joke about them, than a joke about people thousands of miles away who he/she has never met and is never likely to meet. Well, they won't be meeting them, cos they're dead.

Anyway, that's beside the point.

And as for Goaty insinuating that people tell this kind of joke, and laugh at it, as an attempt to "bo cool" is just plain bollards.

I think perhaps some people on here should get of their soap box once in a while...

I don't doubt it.
But this wasn't drunken machismo, this was somebody that has zero humour for that event politely asking a chimp to please not continue with his joke.
And that's all I'm saying on this, I'm off to bed.

"Right here sonny-jim. Right here!"

I've heard that on the street before.

The cop in you can go whistle a tune, I told him not to yet he continued to do so.
He was warned, and I'll do it again regardless of where and who.

The cop in me would have said you went too far. But me being me would say, well done...and I hope you didn't break a nail.
