Now imagine this, what if an individual launched a legal fight not to recognise the law on say armed robbery. Does this mean that person could continue robbing until the matter was settled? I think not.

a mouse trap down and you were told, no it's animal cruelty? would that be hardly fair?
It's just such a high profile sport causing the classic knee-jerk reaction from animal lovers, who are quick to chirp up about cruelty whenever the subject is mentioned, but when it comes to actually doing anything to directly help animals, it's just too much trouble.
I'm assuming most people here eat meat. Newsflash - that animal didn't die of natural causes.
