:D
I have about a limited wannabe's knowledge of guitars, like I know what guitar I've got and that it's a strat and stuff but; what the hell are these things/what do they do:
Pick-up
Redresss the frets
Grub screws
Tone Pot
Also, anyone know any places on the web that tell you how to play?
Ican struggle my way through tabs but that's about it. No money can be expended by the way.
:)
Only the best are able to, so down put yourself down if you just can't make the cut
On a different note, I can now play "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
I'm halfway to be Hendrix II
I thought they were just there to hold the strings onto teh guitar.

Guitars have these little pegs at the end of them that you can use to make them in tune, you know.

It doesn't make sense though. Some guys were calling them too long and stuff and affecting their fingers?

Nah. Just stuff that needs to be done to make it sound right. Unless I haven't mentioned it's a retro 14 year old guitar. That means that it needed a bit of work done on intonation, and the bridge. Needed a new nut and a bit of work on the frets.
I've been playing on my friends out of tune acoustic instead.
