127,000 was the final count, although its feared it was somewhere closer to 150,000. All I want to add is not to those who died, but for the survivors, I hope things don't get to hard for you and I wish you the best of luck.

Don't be so unrespectful.
I've had to answer alot of emails and couldn't get here sooner.
Ive just turned 2005 you see, had to much baileys and slept in.
sorry.
I heard there was alot of people washing up on the beaches so I've sent them some new sponges and washing up liquid
I don't think there is a god in the conventional sense. I think the death toll now over 100000 is due to someone dropping the ball big time by not getting a warning out when they detected that earthquake. I feel so sorry and such sympathy for the families of the dead. To help we should try to stop this happening as bad again, and send aid not waste our time blaming God!
Just been watching the news and they featured some amateur footage someone took when the Tsunami hit.
To put it blunt, it shocked me more then anything. I know what a tsunami is, but to see it from the viewpoint of when it was actually happening was just insane. It happened so fast, the wave just blasted through palm trees and flooded into the streets without much warning.
The worst thing was though, the person who filmed it was in some sort of high rise restaurant and there was a old couple down below on the streets, frantically holding onto some sort of object, people in the building were trying their best to reach down and help but the sheer force of the water just swept the poor couple away.

of all the things to incur gods wrath, celebrating his sons life is fairly unlikely wouldn't you say?
if this is gods curse, why wouldn't he do it on a muslim holiday or something equally (christian) blasphemous?
answer that and stay fashionable.
