At what point did screaming "i'm the only gay in the village" make for hilarious viewing? pure bull.
the only thing in little britain i ever at anypoint found amusing was the pikey girl. It was related well to real life and was done pretty well and was amusing the first time you saw it, maybe even the second time. But after that its limited comical value was worn out.
I appreciate that the BBC feels obliged to waste as much of the licence fee as it humanly can, and that bigging up little britain in some way seems to justify the existence of BBC 3, but lets be honest it is bullcrap of the highest order.
I am more than happy to watch mindless crap, low budget productions, hardly any subject is taboo with me, I am a pisshead student for godsake! but this has to be the most over rated programme in the history of television, not clever, not witty, and shitte. those awards better not have been voted for, otherwise this country is in a worse state than i thought (and i am an optimist!)

It's one of my favourite comedys, why?
Why is this post even here anyway? If you don't like Little Britain, don't watch it, it's not that difficult to change the channel on your television, surely?

Lol, so true!
Take the Fast Show for example, you could guess with 95% accuracy what jokes you would see in any given episode, it's merely the location or subject matter that varies - the punchline is always the same.
For that reason I can't ever see a sketch show being better than a sitcom (unless it's something dire), which is why The Office christmas specials should have easily won over Little Britain for whatever category they were in together. Those two episodes are funnier than all of Little Britain combined.

I was hoping someone would mention that, it was actually genuinely funny though and had decent characters rather than a moronic hotch potch of crap.
> Little Britain just isn't funny, at all.
You could watch many episodes of Harry Enfield and Chums back to back but if you tried watching a Little Britain marathon it would become very boring very quickly.
"I choose not to watch these peasent shows, I prefer more interllectual comedy, like the academic that I am. Humph"
Little Britain is just a series of sketch's with variations of the same jokes. But it's Matt Lucas and David Walliams who make it so great, it's funny yet strange. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
