Come on it's not like 3D chips are new
Now what's the point in me getting a PSP?

But the casing has a hole in it to expose the disc to the laser, so pasrt of the disc is exposed and could become damaged. UMD isn't perfect.

An announcement from Sony today shocked the gaming world as we know it:
"Er, yeah, erm, don't move too much when using the PSP. Erm. Let's just call it the PS again, because it's not really... portable".
I mean, if your going to swist the console, chances are you will find something like that happen.
In anycase, there are not many examples so far of this. Wonder if Nintendo have had any touch screen problems yet - it does happen on PDA's (I had one).

You're in my good books, that's for sure.

I think a "Which is better a peashooter or PSP defect?" thread is required.

And we all know its not possible to make a memory card based mp3 skip, so thats another problem out of the way.
Beside doesnt matter how whatever works or how it could of been improved etc...the battery life is the battery life, and so far that doesnt look good.

That sounds like a "layer change" on the disc. There is nothing you can do about that on DVD, its how they get twice the capacity without needing to flip the disc or have a 2nd disc. Some studios do a better job than others at hiding the layer change. As I have a Sony DVD player, I am sure your machine like my one can display the Layer info banner on screen via one of the menus.
