Just thought we could have a nice cosy little vote on the best short story from all the SSC entries so far this year.
Yes, it does include anything up until 31st December, but you can vote now if you want. And, no, you can't vote for one of your own stories.
Now, I thought this would be a good little addition to the usual Short Story Comp because everyone can have a vote on this one instead of just the person who won the last one. It might bring up a few surprises (or Meka might win ;-) ).
How about it?
Oh, and someone else can tally up the votes on 31st December, as I may not be able to get online until later in Jan.
I don't think we'll be taking this that strictly :-)

Perhaps it'd be good to stick the list in the original post?
I really liked Grix's entry to SSC3 (which, incidentally, I set the topic for) and also reading back I really like Sleepy's entry to that too.
I like Ashman's "Suicide Mill" and I like pb's "drip, drip, drip" thing, too.
I quite enjoyed "Danny" by RoJ too, who sadly hasn't written for a while.
It's been a good year for writing, and I also thing the SSCs have really improved a lot of people's writing ability and critique.
> Why isn't mine on the list?
Give me a chance, I'm only up to SSC 11. It'll be there. Promise :)
