"knightmare - who remembers it??"

I used to watch a tv show called knightmare, it was this virtual reality adventure show with 3 kids who had to negotiate 3-D rooms. One would be wearing a big viking helmet and carrying a knapshack and the other two would have to direct him through the rooms, by telling him to go to the left three steps, etc. It was hosted by some guy who looked like a monk.

gamesmaster ruled, but it`s not really fair to put it against bad influence, they were entirely different formates.

Games World?? good ol bob mills.. that was a fine show!

gamesVILLE on the other hand.. we don`t speak of.

It was a terrible show from the off. Nothing could have saved it :(

Speaking of The Crystal Maze, I remember watching the first episode of C4's Unanimous and thinking 'this'd be so much better with Richard O'Brien as the host'.

Yeah, they still show it on Challenge. However, it can't top the Crystal Maze. That remains one of my favourite shows of the time, simply because of that damned harmonica.

Good times. The fact that Challenge shows Takeshi's Castle has nothing to do with me watching it. Honest.

Yup was on Bravo and was about a year behind the other shows. Gamepad that's it

Oh god she annoyed the crap out of me as did that show

Bits was just so vacant though. It was all 'oh, lets be all pop-culture and cool' which just meant 'let's not talk about games too much or geeky stuff like hardware'

And the girls weren't that good looking...

Ah yes Bad Influnce, I quite enjoyed that, except Andy I dont think he even played any games. Violet however did. Didnt she go on to do another Gaming show?

Bits on Channel 4, anyone like that one? 3 nice girls, a yank for Kawada, I think one girl even did a porno. =S

The contestants were always so infuriatingly stupid!! But I did enjoy watching it for some reason ... :)

Gamesmaster was great it was one of the shows I truly looked forward to each week.

Crystal Maze with Richard O'Brien is another fave of mine, I still watch the repeats on Challenge.
