"knightmare - who remembers it??"

I used to watch a tv show called knightmare, it was this virtual reality adventure show with 3 kids who had to negotiate 3-D rooms. One would be wearing a big viking helmet and carrying a knapshack and the other two would have to direct him through the rooms, by telling him to go to the left three steps, etc. It was hosted by some guy who looked like a monk.

Andy Crane (of Ed the Duck fame) and Violet Berlin. With the mad bloke in the cupboard doing the cheats.

Yes I think it's on Challenge they usually put a couple of half hour episodes on one after the other.

That would be great, imagine what they could do with all the new technology since the original went off the air!

Though of course, as a former Special Reserve employee, Dave deserves only good-natured mocking for his televised humiliation. And the trousers, those terrible trousers.

Re; Knightmare - it's still alive on Sky - think it's Challenge TV or Bravo.

Wouldn't mind seeing a modernised version for the current generation though.

ITV were supposed to be looking into bringing it (Knightmare) back again.

RE: Gamesmaster. I still think that Bad Influence was a better show factually, though for entertainment value, Gamesmaster beat it just by having Patrick Moore.

The good thing about Bad Influence is they focused on hardware as well as software and often had sections on how things worked. It was certainly the best thing Andy Crane did! Violet Berlin (wife of Gareth 'Gaz Top' Jones) was always entertaining.

In fact, they need something like Bad Influence now, it would go quite well with the current interest in the new generation of consoles and technology.

Pah i can calculate pi to 23 decimal places i can easily beat your little gam...............who stuck that hole there?
