I'm not saying for one moment you shouldn't have said it, you can have your opinion but if you put it up you better be ready for it to be criticised just like the rest of us.

I was trying to make a point, not make you care

Yep your opinions are your own, i just happen to think they're completely wrong, my opinion if you like.

Have you gotten lost between the idea of an ordinary mopey teenager or what the subject is about, the cutters are almost always private, not that you care of course.
I wrote a 2-post summary of how I felt, and now have red-faced do-gooders telling me that they're disgusted and how I think I'm more responsible for what I write because of a name-colour.
It's a purile argument that I should be more caring or understanding about something I really don't have sympathy for.
And I don't see why I should remain hushed and in sympathetic awe of these idiots that harm themselves instead of saying I find it senseless and nothing more than a cry-for-attention.
I'm not saying it is, I'm saying that's how I see it - regardless of any mini-summaries offered up by people that don't do it.

Your opinions arent wrong at all. Your attitude and understanding of the situation and mentality behind it however are somewhat lacking. Not every cutter is suicidal at all, many dont want to die, they want help and either dont know how to ask, dont have the confidence to ask, or have asked and not received the help they need.
Go be a Samaritan if you feel that strongly, just don't try and tell me that my opinions are wrong. They're not, they're my opinions on a bunch of mopey wannabe-suicidals that lack the balls to go all the way and end it.
And, instead, choose to slash themselves and fey about.
It's a cliche, a timewaste of sympathy. You want sympathy or understanding? Then at least have the courage to try and hang yourself instead of this half-assed "Look, I bleed, see how confused and upset I am?" routine.
Life sucks. Wear a helmet.

I'm not confusing you at all

Thankyou for your lengthy reply

See, the problem here is that you've confused me with somebody that gives a toss.
No, really - I wouldn't lost a wink of sleep if this weepy band of mutilators had a Jim Jones evening.
As for my "golden badge of approval", I had nothing to do with that whatsoever, and made it plain that I have at no point posted any differently regardless of the colour of a few characters on a screen in an internet forum - the fact you place stock in something so trivial is an issue more to do with yourself that anything Goatboy.
And for a "group of followers who blindly agree" - that's not insulting me in the slightest.
It is, however, insulting other people. Which, again, has no bearing or effect on me.
I couldn't give a monkeys about your relatives, any of your friends or any other example you wish to proffer to try and convince me that people that self-harm are anything other than confused goths that need to get laid and stop reading Anne Rice novels.
And to save you the effort of a protracted blahblah about any points I've raised, I'll repeat:
I. Couldn't. Give. A. Toss.
Thank you, drive through.

You wanna get one...
My dad passed his on to me ages ago as a sort of "congratulations on starting shaving, son". It was handy aswell, there was part of my face that seemed to cut a lot when I shaved it with a razor. Never again...
