Where would you recommend I get a secondhand PS2 from (preferably a place that gives a few months guarantee)?
Which final Fantasy should I start with?
But also I need to know about the presentation of the games as at the moment cacky japanese music really doesn't appeal to me. There's not to much singing in them is there? And there aren't to many squeaky characters that I can't immediately push off a cliff.... hopefully?
What's good and what sucks?
I have played 1-2 (and I think 3) on the PC briefly and didn't like 'em.
However I have gone through Gladius, KOTOR, (most of) Morrowind, LOTR:Third Age and many others so I'm hardly unexperienced in RPGs if anyone's wondering. :)
Basically has the simplest system and the best graphics combination.
7's a tad complicated, with the materia and the multiplying properties and all, but 9's really idiot proof, and impeccably easy as well.
You don't "hate" any of the characters, as such, in stark contrast to FFX.
Tidus is teh epitomeh of jackass. As is Wakka, Auron, LuLu, Kimahri...
Avoid 10 and 8 at all costs m'lud.
I think I might pick up one on PC before I go buying a console for a game I'm not 100% sure about.
What FF would people recommend I get on PC?
Only get Dark Chronicle if you want a few hours of goodness, then several tonnes of irritating, pointless, repetitive and uninteresting gameplay.
