Hopefully you've acted in time before whoever runs these fake emails gets wind of another sucker.

It's a well-known scam though - you can mask the address bar to say whatever you want, then collect user's information from forms and suchlike.

Just read the original post properly, and it appears you've made a retard of yourself. By admitting it on the forums too, you might as well have shat yourself then hung your undies in the town square. Honestly *tuts*

FFS, sorry to sound harsh, but it's stupid people like you that allow 'l33t ha><0rz' like this to prowl the 'net. It's obviously a scam, as Ebay will never email you - they make a point of saying they will never email you asking for confirmation of details, etc. Same with banks, email providers - THEY DON'T EMAIL YOU! I hope that you didn't actually go ahead with it?

I'm pretty sure that you've just been scammed and that by entering your account and password you've just given someone access to your Ebay account.

I've received numerous E-mails supposedly from Ebay saying there's been some unauthorised payments on my account and then asking me to put in my account and password. I guessed that they were unofficial and e-mailed Ebay about them and they were, it's a scam, you should probably e-mail Ebay about it.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.

I think it's fab that you provide an easy-to-follow service, and even better that it's free...!
