Umm. So, is Console Wars a contest of some kind? Do I have to console people?
Alright, here goes: There, there. Turn that frown upside down.
Do I win a prize?

I wasn't being serious, monkey boy. Why the hell would I wanna discuss my body with you?!
Christ, man.

Look at the topic called Madden 2005 (don't worry, it's got nothing to do with american football or anything). I change the topic from american football games to something else. 5 posts later, some monkey says 'ohh great game, i love it'. I say 'what the hell you talking about? (even though it's a topic called Madden 2005)'. Everyone thinks I'm serious.

I'd definitely advise wandering over to the Life and Everything forum if you want to start a topic there. It's usually full of stories, news stories etc, but it'd get more intelligent responses than General Chat.
I'm happy to discuss anything that interests me anyway.
You get an extra dot than usual because you're 'special' and you'd like us to know.

well if that's the case then i withdraw that comment.
but i do advise you to make it a touch more obvious when you're trying to be funny (or ironic, i know how you students love your irony)
i don't mean spelling it out, but an indication of some humourous input would be an idea dude.

Like? You thought I had the funny syphilis?
