I think IPODS are ideal for those on the move, constantly (such as famous people). How many people actually walk down the street listening to their IPODS? I mean theyd get robbed considering how much they are worth. I think its pretty pointless to own one if you dont intend to listen to it on the move. i think their main appeal lies within its style and its "brag-ability" ("oh look Ive got an IPOD, arnt I amazing")
Id much rather own the PSP when it comes out. It plays music, aswel as movies and games. I just think people are just too naive to really expect the moneys worth of £300 plus for an IPOD. Youd have to have a seriously huge CD collection to even slightly fill up the storage on the IPOD, and you need them all in MP3 format. Its too much hassle for me.
Also apple rip-off their UK customers more than any1 else in the world, especially downloading off ITunes.
Does anyone here own an IPOD, and are you happy with it???

:^D
And I'm the only one I know that has one...
Damn my sheep ways.

Oh of course, because making stuff up means it's true.
Creative make sound cards, they have done for years now, so that's why the ZEN has better sound quality and sound settings, read the reviews.
Anyway, if you're a sheep/Timmargh, buy an iPod:
It's smaller.
It looks better.
It has a better sounding name.
The menu interface is better.
That's all that's better, you're paying the OTT money for the name, hence why I got a ZEN, because I wanted something that would actually give me value for money, instead of paying for the name.
What does the ZEN give you?
More space.
Far longer battery life.
Better sound options.
Most people agree better quality.
FAR cheaper.

Just read that review, it's of the older 'brickier' ZEN but it sums up how shallow people are when it comes to fashion over quality. Being a sheep is the way to be nowadays.
Back to the original thread however, I've got about 700 songs on my ZEN, I listen to it while I'm walking to and from work/uni or I'm in the car. I plug it into the radio and I've got 700 songs to choose from. It's also a great place to put your porn, seeing as nobody will ever find it in there!
The PSP will have a pathetic memory, you'll only be able to get a few songs on it, hence why it's a games console and not an MP3 player.
> I'm sure you can hook it up to your cars speakers somehow.
yeh, i used to hook up a mp3 CD player to my old car which didnt have a cd player. But on my current car i got a CD player and considering CDs only cost a few pence...
> I'm sure you can hook it up to your cars speakers somehow.
I use a tap adapter with my Zen. Pretty fair quality.
OO!
On a different notw, I might get rid of my beloved Zen for the new ZenTouch thingy. Anyone want it? But can I bear to let the little darling go....?
*whimples*
You don't even need to read the instruction manual to go and pick a song to listen to.
It's cool, I want one, but I doubt I could afford it.

No worries
It is a bit too pricey (even with the drop in price) but they do what they are supposed to do, even with a pants battery (But its very rare that you ain't gonna not be able to charge it somewhere).
