Anyone catch the Colts vs Patriots game to kick off the start of the 85th NFL season? Was a great way to start the season and i hope all the games are as entertaining. Was in a strange situation where i couldn't care who actually won this as i find New England to be horribly boring and Ty Law to be very annoying (he takes arrogance to a whole new level, he makes Jose Mourinho look like the most modest man in the world) and Indianapolis aren't much better with Peyton 'Most over-hyped player ever' Manning leading the charge.

Was good to hear the greatest commentating duo in all of sports Al Michaels and the legend John Madden back once again, no one can beat them.

But anyway the game, few interceptions thrown by Manning showing just how average he is and proving once more New England is not his favourite place (Vick and McNabb are far better) and Ty Law spending most of the game on the bench and when he did come on he got schooled by Marvin Harrison (and why Manning wasn't throwing to him more often i've no idea, he's your best reciever you muppet, use him) Great ending as well with McGuinness sacking him and leaving VanDerJagt with a hard field goal which he missed when he should have only had about a 35 yard attempt to knock threw the sticks.

Bring on the rest of the season

like I say, Pinkston, Mitchell and Smith got the Eagles to the NFC championship games 2 years in a row, so don't count them out.

Said he's out until the Superbowl at the very least. I don't know though, depending on how well his replacement does would you take out the guy that got you to the Superbowl to put TO back in or could you just not leave TO out however good the replacement plays

And he's not been on top form for the past few weeks.
Three or four of his games since week 10, he's only had about 20-30 receiving yards, whereas at the beginning of the season he was scoring 2 touchdowns a game and received 80-100 yards or more.

And they don't even need to win their next 2 games, so he'll probably be fine by the playoffs.

:' (

To be fair though, they won 11 games last season without Terrell Owens - they've only got to win 3 now.

The Pro Bowl is just like all All Star Breaks in American Sports, popularity contests where people pick the most controversial or extravagent atheletes instead of those that actually deserve to be in there.

Tough call between the AFC teams but whoever does win that division will probably win the superbowl as Philly are suffering injury after injury

AJ me and you have the same brain. I've got Collins in at QB, and the same team as you, pretty much, except that I switched Bennet for Walker.

Oh and head on over to http://www.nfl.com for the Pro Bowl selections. You can tell that people just vote for names they know - Ahman Green is in there when he's not really done that much at all this year.
Also note all the Philly players on the NFC defense (4!) and Akers is kicker, with Ike Reese as the special teamer (I picked him).

Inthe AFC you've got Brady Brees and Manning, with Martin Tomlinson and James at RB. My prediction for the pro bowl - AFC wins.

My prediction for the superbowl? Patriots AGAIN, although I hope to god that they don't make it.

Isn't that where it's supposed to go?

Anyway, I figured, against the Steelers, who are the best Defencinve team this season, and they don't have the greatest offence, they'll try for a lot of field goals.

I'll be laughing all teh way to the door when the postman comes with my prize.
