That guy on the other end never said that; he just stated that I should start from 1st year, like most of the other students.

However, he did gave a first year syllabus and it looked like any other uni's course content in England.

All Scottish uni's work this way. A levels are considered to be the same as first year uni in Scotland. Where our school pupils do Highers at 16/17 and can then go to uni, those doing A levels are a year older normally. A levels will often get you straight into second year.

It works out the same in the end.

As for failure dude, no, all three years were at Glasgow. Benefactor methinks.

What's bizarre is that on 20 Sept we'll be getting out ID cards for our uni... but 10 days later, because our uni's merging with another, we have to get ANOTHER one, the difference being the logo.

Today, I went to college to sort out our plans for college. We start first thing Monday morning. We got our new student I.Ds and a bunch of forms to mullover including new diaries.

I left them in the pub by accident when I went home.

Hmmmmmmmmm.
Glasgow's Open Day was crap. I still want to go to either it or Edinburgh, but I don't have a clue how good it'll be.

I considered visiting Edinburgh for an Open Day, they had a course on AI and CS together. But I didn't get their 4 years Honours system, which worked differently from the rest of UK.

Glasgow is by the far the greatest Uni... in Glasgow.

I'd say it was the best in Scotland actually. Edinburgh is just a naff city and there is nothing in St Andrews.

The degree was law, the masters is forensics.
