And Icky, I've told you before it isn't worth it. We're clearly the best there is, and yet the amount of stupid beauracracy makes it irritating. Unless I get a few more promotions, when my 12 years is up, I'm gone.

Reference chaplains, we used to have this catholic minister come round in cyprus. He loved it, his best phrase was " i used to work hard in the church and get paid peanuts..... god answered my prayer now i do peanuts and get paid hard"

youve hit the nail on the head right there, on your first year in trade youll be fawned off to somewhere obscure because no one will trust you. Life management is terrible in the forces jaded by old esteems and waning traditions that cloud logical conclusions.

Oh yes it is. All they ever do is paperwork.

The navy one seemed like fun. I never did it though, did Computer Science because I wanted to in the end.

£32K for a staff sergeant... not bad at all. Although, the chaplains earn that after a year now.

So really, it's people like me that keep you in a job then :-) We destroy it from the air, you fix it and try get us back the next time... Kind of ironic really.
