Idiots.
Rest of world - GTA!!!111
Hopefully Nintendo will whip out some adult-ish stuff to combat it. But at the moment PSP has the lead on 'adult content hype' IMO.
GTA will slowly go down in sales, just like once system shifters Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil still big, just not as big as it once was.
Nintendo do have an exclusive franchise on the DS that always shifts and sells millions and millions of systems. Particulary in Japan. Mark my words.
'may well' doesn't quite breed as much positive hype as 'definately/confirmed/in the bag/bet your grandma on it'.
If the game's definately confirmed on PSP people who want it will get the PSP rather than gamble on it turning up on DS.
The same GTA series that may well appear on the DS?

The bit you overlooked.
I'm not talking about sales I'm talking about word of mouth 'I'm going to get GTA portable woo hoo! type of hype.

I'd not say that.
PSP are selling more at the moment because of the lack of systems at launch. They've only just become avalible so of course there's going to be a sales boost.
Christmas 2005 the innovative appeal of the Nintendo DS will help it ship in silly amounts and will beat Sony for the "must have product of 2005".

Correct.
Nintendo have so far, sold more DS's than Sony have PSP's.
And if that trend continues over the coming months, I for one, will be VERY impressed.
I suspect that by the end of March it will be a very different picture indeed....
GTA portable etc.

No it's too early to call who's won. It's easy to call who's winning. That's Nintendo. The more consoles sold and all that.
And of course more software sold too.
Far too early to call.
