Most people loved those games, I'm surprised how the Sony fanbase I see down the pub constantly say how dissapointing GTA5 is, and how they've been telling people not to get it.
I can't see it being much different to the other titles.
Stupid nerds.
It's the sales figures that I'd like to see. And in any case you'd need some pretty accurate time-based facts to compare the two as obviously Vice City in total is bound to have sold more at present if they were even equal on sales.
God I can't even remember what the hell this was all about now.
DS sucks and all that.
Jesus.
Each generation comes the popular franchises of the previous generation tends not to succeed quite as well.
Look at MGS, Spyro, Crash, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, GT, Wipeout, Zelda and so forth...
Once giant games, still sell well, just not as system shifting as they once were.
Online GTA chaos really would be fantastic.

Same goes for Halo 2, Mario Kart: DD and a host of other big sellers.

It'll be rejuvenated by being the first GTA game for next generation hardware.
If I'm honest, I'd probably go for the console with the next GTA on as I think the new hardware could really do something special with the series. We've seen with San Andreas that Rockstar aren't the kind of company to sit on their laurels and release carbon copies every year
San Andreas was knocked down by NFS, Halo 2 and Prince of Persia very quickly.
The game was also criticised by a lot of the die hard fans. Which I found odd.
Add to that the hypocritcal bilge of "GTA games are evil" being banded about I think that San Andreas did rather well!
As for total sales, if you've got 'em handy - I'd love to see them.
