Its nearly that time again! The season for us lot kicks off next weekend, after, for me, what seemed like a long summer, and i for one cant wait for the season to start.
As always, i have my season ticket and im pretty confident of what The Owls can achieve this season, im just hoping this season can be the one where the rot stops, and we gain promotion. We have a whole new team almost. We released 15 players last season, and signed 11 this, including ex Southampton captain Chrissy Marsden, and then a squad of good young players who all look the part to go with him
We have 2 friendlies left against the Bolton and Everton, and in our previous friendlies we have looked good.
I know there are a number of you lot who support teams in the lower leagues, so lets not let this forum be over run by Premiership talk and such. After all, our clubs are just as important as the bigger clubs.
So what are your hopes and fears for the new season? Who you looking forward to playing the most?
Up the Owls!!

The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!!
Need all 3 on Tuesday and Friday at home. And Justin needs his red card resinded, which'll hopefully happen.
Hey, at least Satanage lost. Ahaha!
In the first half he kicked the ball away so the ref gave him a detention. He must have been what, 14?
Elding was terrible, but in the right place at the right time for the goal.
We fielded a reserve team, which was odd because I didn't even know we had enough players for a reserve team....
Muh, like Quint said, glad we're out of it.
> Ahaha! Did Satanage field their first team?
Funnily enough - no.
Elding was the only regular in the team, couple of fringe players, the rest were kids thrown together (including my mate who i played with in primary school) *Shrugs* Glad were out, dont want a mickey mouse cup contributing to a fixture pile-up.
How did Stewart play Colourless?
A good performance from Barnet Reserves (+ a few first teamers). Nicky Bailey especially.
As for the Owls, we are home to Chester tomorrow in the mighty LDV Cup. Of course ill be attending the game, see Sturrocks first game at Hillsborough. This is easily a chance for us to get to Cardiff, so would love a good run, but of course the league is the main focus of the season.
Come on the mighty Whites...
> Quinty, I'll be on the east terrace tonight so you won't be able to
> see me in the family stand opposite you. East terrace is right next
> to the away supporters.... *packs missiles*
Heh. I can't make it tonight unfortunately, got too much work.
Watch out for Stewart 26 at the back for us, he's a mate of mine.
Save your missiles for New Years Day dood :-)
