Its nearly that time again! The season for us lot kicks off next weekend, after, for me, what seemed like a long summer, and i for one cant wait for the season to start.
As always, i have my season ticket and im pretty confident of what The Owls can achieve this season, im just hoping this season can be the one where the rot stops, and we gain promotion. We have a whole new team almost. We released 15 players last season, and signed 11 this, including ex Southampton captain Chrissy Marsden, and then a squad of good young players who all look the part to go with him
We have 2 friendlies left against the Bolton and Everton, and in our previous friendlies we have looked good.
I know there are a number of you lot who support teams in the lower leagues, so lets not let this forum be over run by Premiership talk and such. After all, our clubs are just as important as the bigger clubs.
So what are your hopes and fears for the new season? Who you looking forward to playing the most?
Up the Owls!!

The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!!
> How is Pressy doing? Is he in the team much?
Messed up again tonight apparantly which is good to hear. 6 draws in a row is dodgy.

*sob*
And just to rub salt into our wounds, on the radio when that **** Terry Brown was asked who he wanted in the next round, and gave the reply of "Lymington". Guh!
Anyway, December...erm...something. Boyo.
December......the 7th!

We would have won Luton if we had played them last week, but this week a 4-0 loss :(
Bah.
Billericay away in the first round, was hoping for Sheff Wed away but there we go, should on paper reach the 2nd round now.
Ash, how did the mighty lymington with the average crowd of 86 do today? Oops!!
Ah well atleast we are not getting beat, but draws don't get you anywhere in the table.
He came under fire last season with some of the Owls fans, but personally i felt it was the defence letting us down. If not for him, we could have had some thrashings last season.
Chesterfield this afternoon at home. Need a result.
Im nervous.
> How is Pressy doing? Is he in the team much?
Pressman is doing great, he's had a very long run in the team as Ian Walker is injured at the moment, and i have to say i had my doubts about Pressman at first but he has surprised me.
