It's a niche title, it was never going to be a huge global hit because some would always find it dull/none-FPS-like. In terms of quality it's up there with Goldeneye, but not with appeal. And Goldeneye is harder that Prime, by the way.

Not one person here could co-ordinate advertising for NOE, the sad thing is even if we couldn't do it we would still get a few TV adverts which would probably do the GC a world of good.

I totally agree. I think Goldeneye is the best game of all time. Metroid Prime was too hard to appeal to people the way Goldeneye did. Probably it's biggest downfall was the sometimes insane difficulty level.
