Good, that'll do me for now.

What difference does that make?

'needs another Goldeneye or Perfect Dark'
FPS games.
You then say 'Metroid Prime is a great game exclusive to the Cube'. Which although true doesn't infact offer an FPS of the stylings or impact of Goldeneye or Perfect Dark which is what N64 fan was saying the cube needed.
It's like someone saying: I wish there was an Aliens game on the cube.
and then someone saying: Well there's Harvest Moon.

Sort of, but Metroid Prime does have more in common with Goldeneye than an Aliens game would have with Harvest Moon.
Unless:
Alien farming where you plant things in people and watch them grow. :D

heh
and if we're using Goldeneye as an example then Metroid Prime doesn't have a wide an appeal, so in that respect it falls short of being another Goldeneye. In others it doesn't.

I totally agree. I think Goldeneye is the best game of all time. Metroid Prime was too hard to appeal to people the way Goldeneye did. Probably it's biggest downfall was the sometimes insane difficulty level.
