Ah good, as long as it's more fun than frustrating. :)

Ninja Gaiden isn't hard, it's just got a bit of a nack to it. Once I was past the first 2 levels I just flew through the game.

That wasn't the complete post though was it. He acknowledge Zelda as a great game exclusive in that same post so it wasn't just an attractive FPS that N64 fan meant.

When I finally get Ninja Gaiden I expect I will eat my hand in frustration. :D

Bosses have often stopped me from playing through a game for a second time because I know they were hard and I dread having to fight them again. After finishing Metroid Prime, I never went back because some of the bosses made me so angry, I wasn't prepared to do it again.

I dislike bosses that are done in a retro sort of way.

The minor boss in Splinter Cell was ok, as were the ones in Serious Sam, but hard bosses can be a pain especially if fighting them sucks and you just want to get back to the core gameplay.

They should be tough to beat, but the Omega Pirate was over the top and I seem to remember that Meta Ridley was also stupendously hard to beat.

Try playing Aztec on the hardest difficulty.

Metroid Prime wasn't really hard until you get to the Omega Pirate and final boss. The final boss is one of the things that left me really hating the game.

I probably wouldn't be half as harsh at criticising the game if it wasn't for that stupid Metroid Prime boss.

I hate bosses!

Not to me it wasn't.
