1. How are the fights in the Matrix less fake than wrestling?
2. How is EVERYTHING in wrestling scripted (and I mean literally everything, as that is what you have said)?
3. When did you become the main authority on what's 'cool' and what's not? Don't forget, you didn't put that down as opinion, you put it as fact.
4. Which wrestlers do you know personally? And what are they like? Because you must know a fair few in order to make such a blanket statement as "they generally suck".
5. And finally, explain to me EXACTLY how wrestling is 'fake'. Not pre-determined, but fake.
And don't say "Oh, I answered these before" before you haven't.

I'll just debate the scripted bit. Not all matches are fully scripted, in fact a good wrestler can call most of the match move by move on the fly. In fact this is something the WWE is trying to encourage by switching opponents at house shows without telling the wrestlers inolved...

Scripted, to an extent. But, if something goes wrong in the ring (Benoit hurting his neck, Nash tearing a quad) then they have to improvise. I don't see any improvising in Eastenders. Predictable, hardly. Sure, you can predict to a certain degree but I dare you to predict the winners and endings of every match and you'll never be able to do it.
As for your Eastenders remark, I can't see how that factors into things. The main focus of a wrestling show is the wrestling. Eastenders don't exactly risk the well being of their actors, do they?

Not really an argument. More of a personal opinion. The fact that you think a few moves are cool kind of negates this point. They use a lot more rest holds, which isn't to everyones taste but that's all down to the WWE trying to protect the wrestlers a bit more.

I've never understood this. Fake? If something is fake, it's either edited in some way or they don't actually do anything dangerous. The fact is, they land on their backs, their fronts, they bleed, they feel the impact and the wrestling industry is a hard life. When they aren't wrestling, they are travelling to their next venue with barely any time to recover from injuries. Wrestlers always have niggling injuries and they work through these injuries. The amount of neck surgeries in recent times just underlines what they put their bodies through.

i have to say i find a lot of "mat" moves and holds failry boring, although to point of these is so the wrestlers can let each other know which spots are coming next, so they're kinda needed.

check out Ultimo Dragon, A.J Styles, Paul London, Sabu, Raven, Shane Helms (ok, so he IS in wwe, but he's had loads better matches beforehand)
