Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

What an odd Community Shield - beat Arsenal 4-0, I had 18 shots, they had 23.

Gudjohnsen hat trick and Lampard scored, seven players got a 10 - Cech, Ferreira, Terry, Essien, Lampard, Drogba, Gudjohnsen, Recoba and Robben got 9 and the rest got 8.

---

Second game, against Bolton, beat them 5-0 - 2 from Gudjohnsen and Drogba and one from Lampard, those 3 got a 10 as well as Cech and Recoba.

However, yet again, Bolton outplayed me, - 17 shots to my 15.

Seems disappointingly easy.

---

I mean seriously,wtf

None of the downloads are working for me. I even tried one on a German site.

Finally got into the Championship playoffs with Boston. I've saved the game at this point so I can reset if I lose and play again until I get into the Premiership.

I know it's cheating but I just want to have a bash at the Premiership to see if I can survive, it's unlikely but I want to at least have a try.

Sold Thierry henry to man utd for £25 million, and puyol to milan for £28 million also released ronaldo, and he signed with betis. The board also raised my funds to £35 million so i bought in some new players.

Got van nistlerooy now up front with cavenaghi, who has finally come good after a disappointing first season, David pizzaro off of newcastle, and some defender off real madrid, a right-back, and some others as well, kamphius (sp?). new season started, drew celtic in my group stage of the champions league, beat them 4-0 and 6-1 in the two matches. 7 games gone in the league, 7 victories, including a 3-0 over real madrid and a 7-1 over osusana with 10-men. Van nistlerooy has got a 10 rating every match and like ronaldo, will get you a ton of goals.

Chelsea and their money-spinning Chairman, have appointed a virtually unknown Scottish Manager, David Wood...

...just give me the money.

So, just started a season with Chelsea as there is no way they will sack Jose and hire the manager of Aberdeen lol.

Anyhow, heres what I've done so far, building a team for the future btw. Plz rate or provide suggestions.

GK: Cech/Rensing

DL: Del Horno/Bridge
DC: Terry/Kompany
DC: Carvalho/Woods/Diamond
DR: Gallas/Vanden Borre

DMC: Makelele/Pizzaro/Guarin*

ML: Robben/J. Cole
MC: Lampard/Arouca*
MR: Wright-Phillips/Duff

SC: Martins/C. Cole/Adu~
SC: Crespo/Drogba

* Awaiting Work Permit
+ waiting for contract to be accepted
~ future transfer/all terms agreed
