Huh? Why can't I make an offer for Miccoli?

Di Vaio ain't a striker. He's a forward. Essentially a better player playing off a main target man.

Meanwhile Mista is a complete striker. He'll get you more goals in the system I suggested than Di Vaio would.

He's currently playing in Mista's place because Mista is injured.

You always go on about Micolli, is he that good? Or is he just one of those bargain players because Valencia already have some decent strikers so unless he's really good there'd be no point in me buying him.

EDIT | Compared to Mista he does seem to be pretty good! But £14M is alot...unless I managed to sell Di Viao or trade.

Some players don't perform as a lone striker - take van Nistles for instance. He never scores in 4-5-1 formations, it always comes from the midfield, but he gets all the assits.

Miccoli, on the other hand, rips defences apart then laughs at them.

For a player worth £15M I would've expected him to score by now seeing as i've played quite a few matches already.

Di Vaio is crap in the Spanish league. Following the tradition which sees Italian players fail in Spain and Spanish players failing in Italy.

Yeah, try and sell him, as Mista is a much better target man.

Hmm...i'll try that. And thanks Coin, it didn't come with a read-me file, but I know what to do (I think...).

EDIT | But by using that formation with those 4 players it means Di Viao will have to be a sub...and he's worth about £15M.

He's currently unhappy right now, but so are alot of my players because im a 'Rookie Manager' and they don't think I will do a good job.

I could sell him...im sure theres loads more better Forwards I could get with £15M.

Umm... Read the readme? Though I reckon you just need to open the downloaded file, copy all the files, go to C:/Program Files/Football Manager/Data/Graphics/Ball or /Pitch/Ball, then paste them there.

Diego Tristan is one of the moany bassa players that is never satisfied. He always wants to be on the transfer list whoever he plays for, and no-one ever offers for him anyway, so he's always stuck on the transfer list at Deportivo with his value in constant decline. They don't need him either, y'see, as Albert Luque is amazing enough to play as a lone striker himself.


You're Valencia, as well. You don't need him.

Play the 4-2-3-1 with Mista as your lone striker. Trust me, he'll get you loads of goals with Rufete, Aimar and Vicente as the trio of attacking midfielders.

Coin, how do you change the match ball? I did it before but I can't remember and now it wont work.

I downloaded the ball, extracted it (using winzip) to the Football Manager 2005 folder but it isn;t working.

Woah, Chelsea have bought Ronaldo from Madrid and for some reason loads of clubs are trying to get Blasi, he's only worth £4M but clubs are bidding £10M!
