It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.
I love Football Manager '05
Im playing FM2005 right now, been playing all morning. :D
Been a bit boring here lately, I've had a lot of GCSE shizzle to do, so haven't made much time for my darling United team. However, weekend is here, so getting back into it. Playing against AA Gent in the Summer of 2007, having just retained the Europeans Chapions Cup (shouldn't it be League?) and the Premiership - on... GOAL DIFFERENCE. Shock horror. Was 7 points behing Arsenal and Chelsea with 7 games to go... Beat Arsenal, lost to Chelsea 5-0 but ended up tying with Chelski on 82 points. Going into the last game of the season, Chelsea had 81 points and I had 79 points. I needed them to draw or lose and I needed to win. If they drew, I needed to score at least 5 goals to clinch the title on goal difference... And I scored 6 against Southampton, Chelsea drawing 0-0 with Middlesborough. So I won, but barely.
Well, anyway, back to the AA Gent friendly - end of the first half, 5-0. Pongolle got a hat-trick (he's class, and you can pick him up at the end of the first season for nuttin') and Podolski (playing on 10) has scored 1, Ronaldo bagged one as well.
Sweet.
But im a bit annoyed seeing as I done almost half a season with Valencia, oh well i'd rather manage PSV!
Giuseppe Dei Forti
Originally in the Milan Reserves, I got him on a free after they let him stay on loan at AlbinoLeffe (great name) until his contract ran out.

Sorry, must have mis-read the original post!
Im looking all over the Internet for a decent Training program to download as im no good at making my own.
Good keeper: Saja, 25 years old, greatness.
I adjusted the team instructions a little bit and now we're finally on fire! 2-0!
Our first win of the season!

It basically has any ball you could think of.

Hmmm, I always find that system VERY effective in the Spanish league.
Try changing your team instructions. Play more down the flanks and use a target man.
Whether I've been Valencia, Deportivo, Atletico Madrid or Betis, that formation has served me very well. Maybe a player who is actually a striker in the game (SC, not FC) would suit you better. As far as I can remember, Mista is actually a FC in the game, even although he's much more of a normal striker in reality.
Try and get Kezman if he's transfer listed (he usually is in my games because Chelsea play Gudjohnsen and Drogba, just like they do in real life).
